Guillermo Garcia, President and co-founder of GSG Consultants, Inc., has successfully led the transformation of the firm from a small asbestos service company to a multi-faceted consulting firm specializing in engineering, environmental, and construction management services. As CEO of the company, he has fostered growth through his leadership, vision, and long term strategic planning, encouraging participation in an expanding array of markets.

GSG Consultants, Inc. is a leading MBE/DBE specialty engineering and scientific consulting firm delivering solutions for the transportation, buildings and facilities, and land development markets. With corporate offices in Chicago, GSG is strategically located to deliver services throughout the Midwest and beyond; GSG is licensed to practice engineering in 17 states including Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Montana, and North Dakota.

Mr. Garcia’s hard work and dedication to GSG is evident through the firm’s recent contract awards: noteworthy projects include the Design-Build Project at Amtrak’s Union Station, the Illiana as well as the St. Louis to Chicago High Speed Rail projects through the Illinois Department of Transportation, various Blanket Design projects with Metra, and multiple contract awards with the US Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Chicago Public Schools.

Mr. Garcia has 25 years of experience in the industry.  He is an active member of the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association and currently serves as the Chairman of the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
