Substance Free Workplace Program 

The Substance-Free Workplace Program (SFW) at the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is committed to helping companies promote healthy work environments that support engaged employees that actively contribute to business growth and success. SFW emphasizes total employee health and well-being and specializes in substance abuse, a growing behavioral health concern that impacts more than 1 out of 12 people nationwide.
Funding is provided in whole or in part by the Illinois Department of Human Services and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

SFW provides the following services:

  • Strategic one-on-one consulting on health and wellness programming, including substance abuse program review and development 
  • Supervisor training 
  • Employee education and access to assistance 
  • Access to resources that support healthy, substance free workplaces
