The Latinx Incubator is a first-of-its kind partnership between IHCC and 1871. The mission of the incubator is to grow the pipeline of Latinx entrepreneurs participating in and contributing to the Chicago tech and innovation economy.

Startups selected for the incubator join 10-12 of their peers in a 3-month cohort. During the program, founders go through a rigorous curriculum to help them test their ideas and understand what it takes to develop a real product and attract customers for it. Sessions also focus on educating founders on their finances and the different forms of capital available to them. Incubator companies benefit from constant peer-to-peer feedback, one-on-one coaching, and access to mentorship opportunities.

The program culminates in two exclusive events. The first is a private pitch with key stakeholders from 1871,  IHCC and the investment community. The second is a capstone Demo Day with the Chicago tech ecosystem.

Applications for Cohort 6 are now accepted until Monday, August 12th.
