Lizet Alba currently serves as Marketing & Communications Coordinator and Project Coordinator for the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC). In this role, she manages the chambers external communications regarding events and chamber initiatives, including press releases, website updates and media interviews. Additionally, she produces content for the official IHCC blog, weekly digital newsletter, and social media channels consisting primarily of Facebook and Twitter. Lizet also currently manages the new small business member on boarding process, working with new small businesses to develop a plan to maximize their IHCC membership and utilize their marketing deliverables.
Lizet is a 2016 graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and Integrated Marketing Communications. While at Northwestern, she served as President and Marketing & Media Chair of her sorority chapter and coordinator of the Council of Latino Admissions Volunteers for Education. She also co-founded the schools first traditional folkloric dance group, and was selected as a Class of 2016 Trailblazing Senior by Northwestern Magazine for the June 2016 issue.
